Developer and owner of semi-industrial and logistics properties VGP has started construction of the fifth hall in its logistics park VGP Park Plzeň, which is located in the industrial part of the city of Pilsen - Bručná close to the E49 road and connected to the D5 motorway. On a plot of approximately 10 hectares, it offers almost 50,000 square meters of leasable space suitable for light production, logistics and accompanying commercial activities.
The first tenant in the new Panattoni Park North Ostrov industrial zone will be Amphenol Tuchel Industrial, a manufacturer of electrical connectors, smart card readers and wiring harnesses. The company will occupy part of the smaller of the two planned halls with an area of almost 20,000 m2. Construction of a modern industrial building will begin in the second half of this year.
The Prague logistics real estate market will grow with a new significant project! A leading international company providing transportation services will relocate its Prague logistics operations center to a tailor-made building in the brand new Prologis Park in Chrášťany.
The Panattoni Park Prague Airport II industrial zone will be strengthened by comic book superheroes. The last free space with an area of 1600 m2 will be occupied by the publishing company Seqoy and it will store books and comics. The hall aspires to a very high evaluation within the BREEAM ecological certification. Thanks to the transaction, the industrial park near Pavlov in Central Bohemia was filled at a record pace. The builder of the industrial buildings, Panattoni, was able to build and occupy a total of 130,000 m2 of modern industrial space in just 5 years since the start of construction.
Continental Automotive Czech Republic, which supplies automotive electronics, in cooperation with CPI Property Group, has begun construction of two new buildings in its production facility in Brandýs nad Labem. It is a hall for the production of displays and an office building, which together will offer a total of five thousand square meters of new space. They should be put into operation at the beginning of 2022. In addition to production, Continental will also focus on the further development of state-of-the-art warehousing technologies, some of which it already uses in real and test operations.
Wedo is investing in the major modernization and expansion of its transmission network through a new central transshipment depot and regional depot, which is now being built by the UDI Group at the 34th D1 exit near Ostředek. The hall building with almost 9,000 m2 of built-up area and another 12,000 m2 of outdoor handling area will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology for automatic sorting of consignments. The first shipments should leave the new transshipment yard for customers in the spring of next year.
Gebrüder Weiss has begun construction work in line with its plans to expand the transshipment warehouse of its headquarters in Jenč. "The transshipment and logistics warehouse in the Jeneč complex will grow by 3,700 m2 from the original 18,000 m2, so the total area will now have an area of 21,700 m2. As part of the expansion of warehouses, we will build, among other things, 24 new transshipment ramps.
