Amphenol is relocating its production plant within Ostrov in Karlovy Vary. The investment will therefore not burden the city with new freight transport, and on the contrary will help to take the existing one further out of the village. The industrial park is a showcase of the Czech circular economy. It was created by revitalizing the devastated area after the Škoda Plzeň trolleybus production plant, one of the largest brownfields in the Czech Republic.
