Irish clothing chain Primark has expanded the space it leases in CTPark Bor, the largest Czech industrial park. CTP, the developer and owner of the park, recently finished another warehouse for Primark, which will be fully automated, incorporating the latest robotic technology. In total, Primark leases approximately 80,000 m2 of A-class warehouse space in CTPark Bor.
The year 2021 was unstable for many industries and especially supply chains, but the industrial developer P3 is getting stronger. It has leased 430,000 square meters in the past twelve months, a year-on-year increase of 45 percent. The number of agreed transactions was record-breaking, with this developer, owner and manager of industrial real estate concluding an average of 1.4 contracts per week.
PÚ CLC, a company belonging to the global Mitsui-Soko Group, operates a multi-client warehouse in Prague near Prague. In Prologis Park, it provides services for approximately 25 clients on an area of more than 13,000 square meters. One of the most important is Noark Electric Europe, for which PST CLC provides comprehensive logistics and warehousing outsourcing.
The development company Panattoni is expanding the offer of industrial premises in the Rychnov region. Two new buildings will be built gradually in Panattoni Park Týniště. The first of these will offer 16,000 square meters of leasable area, and half of it will be occupied by the first tenants in early summer 2022. The transport and logistics company C.S.Cargo will start operating the warehouse of the Czech brand of household appliances Concept here.
Industrial zone developer Panattoni has successfully revitalised another brownfield site for investment group Accolade. They have returned industry to a location where it has historically thrived, the former Kavalier glassworks site in Hostomice, in the Teplice region. The first tenant of the new industrial zone named Panattoni Park Teplice South is the Czech sanitary equipment retailer Sanitino. It has started operating a distribution centre, which will gradually serve the whole of Europe. The transformation of a brownfield, with more than a century of glass history, into a modern zone for light manufacturing and distribution of goods, with an investment of more than half a billion, is therefore continuing successfully.
Jungheinrich will expand its production capacity with a new plant in Chomutov. From 2023, this plant, with an area of approximately 37,000 square meters, will mainly produce reach trucks. Construction of the new plant will begin in 2022. The project budget is approximately 60 million euros. The construction of the new complex will be carried out together with the developer using the built-to-suit method, ie as tailor-made construction. It has more than 350 jobs.
The Dame food company is launching new warehouses of its own Dáme market service in Stodůlky, Prague, and Liberec. It will be the seventh warehouse in the capital, which will be available to customers in Stodůlky and its surroundings at the end of November. The Dame Market service will thus already have a total of eleven warehouses in the Czech Republic and is expanding its offer of delivering fresh and durable food in the order of a few tens of minutes.
For several decades, trolleybuses for the entire eastern block were manufactured here. Then, for a long time, the site became one of the largest brownfields in the Czech Republic. And today, the construction of the first hall of the modern Panattoni Park Ostrov North was inaugurated here. Panattoni is constructing the first 20,000 m2 hall, part of which will be occupied directly by Amphenol Tuchel Industrial, the world's leading manufacturer of electrical connectors, smart card readers and cable harnesses.
