AlzaBoxes will already be available at 50 OMV filling stations

OMV and Alza are expanding their cooperation. Customers of the largest Czech online store will be able to have goods sent to one of the 50 AlzaBoxes installed at OMV filling stations throughout the country. Nowadays, gas stations affected by the worldwide coronavirus pandemic are becoming a popular place for contactless collection of purchased goods. For customers, there is no need to visit shopping centers, post offices or other delivery points, and especially for larger purchases, drivers appreciate the possibility of easy parking directly at AlzaBox.

Gebrüder Weiss started the expansion of the headquarters in Jenč

Gebrüder Weiss has begun construction work in line with its plans to expand the transshipment warehouse of its headquarters in Jenč. "The transshipment and logistics warehouse in the Jeneč complex will grow by 3,700 m2 from the original 18,000 m2, so the total area will now have an area of 21,700 m2. As part of the expansion of warehouses, we will build, among other things, 24 new transshipment ramps. The project also includes the construction of charging stations for electric vehicles," says Jan Kodada, Sales and Marketing Director of Gebrüder Weiss ČR

Košík.cz has created 15,000 digital twins of stored items, simplifies logistics and saves emissions

Use storage space more efficiently, automatically identify incomplete purchases, and even better prevent item damage. But also save emissions from deliveries and increase the number of purchases sold. All this is the goal of the latest logistics project of the Košík.cz online supermarket, within which unique digital twins of all 15,000 items were created, which Košík stores in its warehouse. It was the first online supermarket to use its own sizing unit.
