The development company CTP has almost doubled its premises in Líšeň in Brno. It bought another 69,000 square meters of the leasable area from Zetor Tractors, which originally owned the complex, so the entire complex will have 150,000 square meters upon completion. The developer informed about it in a press release.
Contract logistics provider GXO Logistics has signed a new multi-year contract with zooplus, a pet food and supplement retailer operating in 30 European countries. The contract includes the design, implementation and operation of a new automated distribution center in Bor u Tachova. The new center will enable zooplus AG to meet the growing demand in Central and Western Europe.
In the fourth quarter of 2021, Panattoni began construction of two halls with a total lease area of 26,000 m2 in a new industrial zone - Panattoni Park Týniště. Half of the first hall with a size of approximately 16,300 m2 was leased by the logistics company CS Cargo, which will start operating the warehouse of the Czech brand of household appliances Concept here. The remaining premises with an area of less than 18,000 m2 are being built by Panattoni in cooperation with the DRFG investment fund on a speculative basis, ie without pre-secured tenants.
Honeywell will build a research and development testing center for its warehouse automation activities. The site, which will be located on the Honeywell Technology Solutions (HTS) campus in Brno, will help meet the growing demand for building faster and more reliable supply chains.
The international real estate company EQT Exeter bought five warehouses and production halls located in two industrial parks in the Ostrava region. Specifically, these are Logistics Park Nošovice and Ostrava Airport Multimodal in Mošnov. The portfolio together includes 140,000 square meters of newly completed premium space and the value of the completed transaction is approximately 150 million euros. The sellers are Concens Investments and J&T, the transaction was mediated by the real estate consulting company CBRE.
The logistics provider Dachser is responding to the increased demands on shipments between Christmas and New Year and has prepared a system solution for them. On Monday, December 27, it will launch the so-called Christmas-Hub in Erlensee, Germany, which will cover orders for distribution across Europe, including from Czech customers. The Dachser Kladno branch will be connected to the Christmas-Hub by a direct daily collection service line. The Dachser Christmas-Hub will be operational by the end of this year.
VGP, the developer and owner of semi-industrial and logistics real estate, is expanding its portfolio with another location in Ústí nad Labem, where it plans to build a new technology park named “VGP Park Ústí nad Labem City”. As the name suggests, the project is strategically located close to the city centre. Nevertheless, it is only 2 km from the D8 motorway connecting Prague and Dresden.
Irish clothing chain Primark has expanded the space it leases in CTPark Bor, the largest Czech industrial park. CTP, the developer and owner of the park, recently finished another warehouse for Primark, which will be fully automated, incorporating the latest robotic technology. In total, Primark leases approximately 80,000 m2 of A-class warehouse space in CTPark Bor.
