Rohlik Group invests up to 400 million euros in warehouse automation

Rohlik Group will deploy an automated warehousing and retrieval system (ASRS) in its distribution centers, thus increasing the efficiency of order picking and utilization of warehouse capacity. In the first phase, the group invests about 45 million euros in automation, in the years 2022-2025 it will be a total investment of up to 400 million euros.

Arete Invest settled investors and closed the investment cycle

The Arete Investment and Real Estate Group, which includes real estate investment funds, disbursed all investors in the Arete Invest CEE II sub-fund after the March sale of the portfolio, thus successfully closing the investment cycle. This is the second successful closing of the sub-fund and its deletion from the register of investment funds maintained by the CNB. The Arete Group is the only one on the Czech market to close and settle investment funds at the end of the investment cycle, directly as part of the investment strategy.

Panattoni to build for Amazon the first robotic fulfillment center in the Czech Republic on a brownfield site near Kojetín

Eight years since Amazon announced its entry into the Czech Republic, the world's leading e-commerce company has announced its expansion into Moravia. Industrial zone builder Panattoni will build the first robotic fulfillment center for Amazon in the Czech Republic on a brownfield site of a former sugar factory near Kojetín in the Přerov region. It will be the first fully-fledged multi-storey logistics building with state-of-the-art technological equipment in the Czech Republic.

HELLA to build new laboratory at CTPark Ostrava

In addition to manufacturing capabilities and an R&D centre, HELLA, a global manufacturer of lights and electronic components for cars, is now building a state-of-the-art testing laboratory in the Ostrava region. The lab will be located at CTPark Ostrava Hrabová, where advanced machines will be simulating the real-life operating environment of HELLA products throughout their entire life cycle.

Accolade fund has had a successful second quarter of 2021, in which it exceeded 1 million sqm of fully let space

Investments in the Accolade Industrial Fund outperformed the previous periods in the second quarter of 2021 and the value of the fund increased to €863 million (approx. CZK 22 billion). The Fund's performance was positively impacted by increased investment activity in the European industrial real estate market and rising prices within this area. Investment appreciation in the second quarter reached 10.21% in the CZK class and 11.49% in the EUR class.
