Gebrüder Weiss has completed the expansion of its domestic headquarters in Jenč near Prague to a total of 26,400 square meters. After the construction of two new logistics halls, the company will now offer its customers by 4,500 square meters of more logistics area, including storage space for different classes of dangerous goods (ADR).

The Polish operator Rohlig SUUS Logistics will open its first warehouse in Hungary in mid-summer with an area of 7,000 square meters, namely in a logistics park near the international airport in Budapest. The Czech retailer of furniture and household equipment Bonami is expanding to another market, this time to Italy. It is thus launching its operation in its first Western market. In the first phase, the company launches an e-shop, which will offer Italian customers a wide range, but also the possibility of returning any goods throughout the year.
The online food retailer Rohlik.cz opened a new distribution center in CTPark Ostrava Poruba last November. Currently, more than 45,000 households from Ostrava already shop at Rohlík, and further growth of 50% is expected. According to a statement for Systémy Logistiky, the online supermarket in the Ostrava warehouse is counting on the future deployment of a larger share of automation.
