The Moravia Steel Group is seriously considering the possibility of operating some of Liberty Ostrava's secondary production operations. Specifically, it is a pipe laying plant, said Moravia Steel Group spokesperson Petra Macková Jurásková. Liberty Ostrava has been in bankruptcy since June, and most of its operations have been closed since last December.
The C.S.CARGO Group achieved significant growth in sales and profitability in 2023, despite adverse economic conditions. Revenues increased to 8 billion crowns, which represents a slight increase compared to 2022. Operating profit (EBITDA) increased by 28% to 701 million crowns. Investments in the renewal of the vehicle fleet, logistics projects and IT technologies reached a total of 376.5 million crowns.

The Czech team of the European industrial developer P3 Logistic Parks announces a strategic personnel change. Aleš Zacha, who has been in charge of development until now, will expand his competences to include the acquisitions agenda. His position will thus be called Head of Development and Acquisitions.
Urbanity Campus Bruntál will be another industrial area of the new generation, which is an integral part of the city and will provide services not only to employees, but also to local communities. The campus will be built on the site of the current brownfield between the exits to Opava and Krnov. The project also includes the construction of a new access road to the area, which will bring traffic calming in the adjacent residential area. The main building with a size of 36,000 m2 can reach a height of up to 20 meters at the request of the client, making it ready for automated and robotic operation, and the other 3 buildings with a size of 3,300 - 10,000 m2 are also suitable for regional manufacturing companies.
The total offer of modern industrial and logistics real estate (I&L) in the CEE-13 countries is more than 67 million m2. Poland remains the largest market for I&L real estate with more than 30 million m2 on offer, representing approximately 45% of the total supply in the region. For comparison, the total size of the Czech market at the end of March was 11,871,300 m2.
The developer handed over the new hall in Arete Park Zdice for use by the tenant, which is the Czech branch of the international logistics service provider Kuehne+Nagel. The hall will provide space for a logistics center, the so-called cross-dock. The total leasable area of the park in Zdice increased by more than 40%.
Seven years ago, the industrial developer P3 Logistic Parks started the construction of an area for light manufacturing, assembly and logistics on the outskirts of Lovosice. He is now finishing the last building. It will offer 16,000 square meters for rent, which will be available already during the summer holidays.
