The new facility will be located in Lavičky near Brno and will be operated by logistics provider GXO Logistics under a long-term contract. The modern distribution hub will serve as a key node supplying up to nine European markets, while also supporting growing demand in both retail and e-commerce channels.
Strategic Location and Modern Capacity
The new logistics center will offer approximately 20,000 m² of warehouse space and will be developed as a greenfield project in close proximity to Brno, one of the most important logistics hubs in Central Europe.
Thanks to its location, the facility will enable fast and efficient distribution across the CEE region, optimizing supply flows for L’Oréal across multiple markets simultaneously.
Omnichannel and E-commerce Logistics
The center is designed to handle both retail and e-commerce flows, reflecting the ongoing trend of integrating distribution channels.
The operation will include modern warehouse management technologies and automation systems, enabling higher efficiency, accuracy, and flexibility in order processing.
Employment and Regional Development
The project is expected to create around 80 new jobs, primarily in warehouse operations and logistics roles.
The development further confirms the growing importance of Brno and its surroundings as a major logistics hub in the region, attracting an increasing number of international companies.
Strengthening the European Logistics Network
The partnership between L’Oréal and GXO Logistics builds on a long-term collaboration between the two companies and follows their cooperation in North America.
The new facility is expected to strengthen supply chain resilience in Europe and enable faster response times to customer demand across individual markets.
The project also highlights the ongoing trend toward decentralization of logistics and the development of smaller but strategically located distribution centers across Europe.
