REALIA Fund adds a new retail park to its portfolio in the Moravian-Silesian Region

The qualified investor fund REALIA FUND SICAV expanded its portfolio with another acquisition at the end of January. It recently added a retail park in the village of Dobrá in the Frýdek-Místek district. With the purchase of the twentieth commercial property, the total value of the fund's portfolio increased to 2.5 billion crowns.

Ecologistics expands lease in P3 Lovosice and expands into a new hall

Ecologistics, a logistics company specializing in e-commerce, is expanding its operations in the P3 Logistic Parks in Lovosice. As part of its expansion, it will lease Hall C, which the developer completed last year, on a long-term basis. Former Czech Savings Bank fund buys logistics park in Slovakia for 1.6 billion

The Reico Long Lease mutual fund, which is now part of the parent group of Česká spořitelna Erste Group Bank, has made its first trip to Slovakia. Construction of a logistics center for the BMW Group has begun in Mošnov

The BMW Group will soon operate its overseas logistics from the logistics park in Mošnov. Following the issuance of a valid building permit, the development company Concens Investments has started the construction of the 3rd stage of the Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park complex at Leoš Janáček Airport in Ostrava Mošnov. The BMW car manufacturer will have three new halls at its disposal, which it will use on the basis of a ten-year pre-lease. The complex will be connected, among other things, to the railway terminal.

An automated high-bay warehouse for car bodies grows at Škoda Auto, and conveyor bridges will also be built here

The Škoda Auto car manufacturer's intralogistics at its production plant in Mladá Boleslav will be strengthened by fully automated conveyor bridges and an automated high-bay warehouse (HRL) for the transport and storage of passenger car bodies. This follows from a recent press release from the design and construction consulting firm Obermeyer Helika, which is participating in this project. The first stage of the actual project implementation, i.e. the construction of the warehouse, is starting these days.

​​The industrial real estate market will grow by almost 900 thousand square meters in 2025

The fourth quarter of 2024 did not bring any significant change to the industrial and logistics real estate market. Although demand returned almost to pre-Covid volumes, the number of newly completed buildings remained low. Only 106,700 square meters of new space were delivered, which is the lowest in the last three years. The vacancy rate increased by 3 basis points to 3.13% and the highest rent achieved stabilized at around €7.50 per square meter. Given that many projects planned for this year have been postponed, the development for 2025 looks significantly more positive, with 870,300 square meters of new space expected to be completed. This is according to a regular quarterly survey conducted by Colliers.
