The total supply of industrial real estate in the Czech Republic reached 11 million square meters

In the first quarter of 2023, a total of 217,900 square meters of warehouse space was completed in 18 industrial parks across the Czech Republic. This volume represents a 25% increase over the previous quarter. However, compared to the same period last year, there was a decrease of 26%. At the time of completion, approximately 83% of these projects were already pre-leased. The total area of modern industrial premises intended for rent reached the limit of 11 million square meters.

The Arete Group completed the acquisition of an industrial hall near Milovice

Arete Group's third fund focused on industrial and logistics assets in the region of Central and Eastern Europe completed the purchase of a production hall near Milovice in Central Bohemia. The long-term tenant of the building will be AAS Automotive, which specializes in the production of longitudinal and transverse roof racks.

CTP built a highly sustainable logistics hall near Prague

A sustainable industrial building was built on the grounds of CTPark Prague West in Chrášťany u Prahy, which received a record score of 92.1% in the BREEAM New Construction ecological certification at the Outstanding level. It thus became the "greenest" industrial building in the Czech Republic. The hall has a whole series of innovative solutions contributing to energy efficiency, there is no shortage of facilities to support the local fauna, rich greenery or charging stations for electric cars.

P3 Logistic Parks plans to significantly expand its portfolio in the Czech Republic

The industrial developer P3 Logistic Parks is planning massive investments in the domestic portfolio this year. He is interested in land and already functioning parks in attractive locations. It could thus expand its portfolio by tens of thousands of square meters, which in the future will serve tenants from the areas of logistics, light manufacturing, retail or e-commerce.

Dachser will rent another hall in VGP Park České Budějovice

The developer and owner of logistics real estate VGP concluded a lease agreement with Dachser Czech Republic for the lease of new premises in VGP Park České Budějovice. The new hall with a size of 14,000 square meters will be realized directly to the Dachser company. The estimated date of completion and handover of the premises for use is this October. Currently, the company has rented an existing hall with a total area of 9,424 square meters on the premises, and is thus expanding its operations in the same location with the new building.

CTP acquires industrial warehouse in Ostrava with adjacent land enabling its future expansion to a total of 94,000 sqm, making it the largest building in the Czech portfolio

CTP, the largest developer in the Czech Republic focused on the sustainable construction of industrial and logistics properties, acquired an industrial complex from Bluehouse Capital earlier this year on a plot of land with a total area of 330,000 sqm in the city district of Ostrava – Hrušov. In addition to the existing first phase of 18,000 sqm, which already has three tenants, the developer plans to build another 76,000 sqm of industrial-logistics space. The warehouse will be built in the revitalized area of the former chemical plants with a total area of 94,000 sqm and will become the largest in the Czech CTP portfolio.

Industrial real estate in the Czech Republic attracts new production with added value

International demand is driven by green technologies related to energy saving. The times when the Czech Republic was oriented towards warehouses and assembly plants are slowly but surely beginning to change. Only recently have a number of plants been built that are related to the transformation of energy and transport. The automotive industry is starting to move towards electromobility, and companies producing heat pumps and components for photovoltaics are also starting to invest amounts in the order of billions in production here.

Logicor strengths its team in the Czech Republic

Industrial developer Logicor responds to increased activity on the Czech market. It is strengthening its local team with two new members who will work under the leadership of Pavel Rufert.
