VGP handed over the newly completed hall in České Budějovice to Dachser. The space allows the operation of intelligent logistics

The European developer and owner of the semi-industrial and logistics real estate VGP has completed the construction of Hall C in VGP Park České Budějovice located in the Světlík commercial zone. The building was tailored to Dachser Czech Republic, an international logistics company specializing in collection services, contract logistics and other services. The ceremonial handover of the new logistics and office space with a total area of 7,042 square meters has already taken place. The operation of the logistics center will start in the coming days.

The builders of the warehouses and logistics complexes will not stop since the outbreak of the covid pandemic due to the demand driven by the boom of online stores. That is, if they have a place to build. And it is the lack of vacant land and the complex permitting process, in which the inhabitants of many municipalities are not in favor of building halls, that increasingly developers are moving towards projects mixing warehouses with smaller retail spaces, and in some cases even leisure areas.

Newcomers in P3 parks - offices, showrooms and a large freezer

Last year, P3 recorded a 45% increase in rents. She leased most of the space to existing tenants. At the same time, it welcomed 18 new brands in the field of retail, e-commerce and logistics in its parks. It leased them areas of various sizes from less than a hundred square meters in Prague to more than 22,000 m2 in Lovosice.

Arete Fund launches new logistics project

A new 21,000 sqm logistics park is under construction in the town of Valašské Meziříčí, located in the east of the Czech Republic. The third fund of the Arete Group is now starting construction with an investment of over €15 million. According to the investor´s plans, the first tenants will move in by the end of this year

STILL plans to introduce a new range of ACH trucks at LogiMat in Stuttgart. In a realistic application scenario, a Hamburg intralogistics specialist will demonstrate how versatile and flexible automated mobile robots (AMRs) can operate in symbiosis with automated vertical trucks, such as forklifts or narrow aisle trucks.

Security of logistics processes confirmed. Gebrüder Weiss has received TAPA certification

Gebrüder Weiss ČR again received the building and warehouse process security certification for its headquarters in Jenč and newly obtained this certification for the Syrovice branch near Brno. The Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) awards TAPA certifications that allow companies to certify the security of their logistics operations and processes. These are areas such as security, lighting and CCTV, intrusion detection systems or security processes.

CTP reports full occupancy in its Prague industrial parks, and is preparing additional space for lease

CTP handed over the remaining unit in CTPark Prague East in Nupaky, thus exhausting all its free capacities in the capital city of Prague and its surroundings. The last tenant to move in is the supplier of medical material Mapo medical, who rented part of the newly built building equipped with a glass showroom. CTP also informs that it is preparing an offer of additional space for lease, for example, it is working on the expansion of CTPark Prague North near the D8 motorway.
