The company began preparing the project in April 2024. The new headquarters, designed by Qarta Architektura studio, will include an administrative building, a production hall, and a showroom. Since acquiring the airport in Písek–Krašovice in 2019, Primoco UAV has, according to its founder and CEO Ladislav Semetkovský, evolved from a domestic manufacturer of unmanned aircraft into a global player. “The new facilities in Písek will not only reflect this growth, but thanks to their architectural quality, they will represent a modern 21st-century production plant,” he added.

The dominant feature of the complex will be the administrative building, inspired by the shape of unfolding wings, referencing the company’s core business. The production hall for unmanned aircraft will measure 145 by 31 meters. At the nearby airport in Krašovice, the company is also constructing a hangar and training facilities. “These buildings are expected to be completed in the first half of 2026 and, together with the new plant, will form a comprehensive technological and logistics hub for the company,” the company stated.

The city of Písek welcomes the project and has provided land for its development. “We believe the new plant will bring not only economic benefits to the region, but also further innovation and the creation of skilled jobs,” said the mayor of Písek, Michal Čapek.

Primoco UAV manufactures medium-sized unmanned aircraft and is, according to the company, the largest producer of its kind in Europe. Its One 150 model has a maximum take-off weight of 150 kilograms, an endurance of up to 15 hours, and certification under NATO military standards as well as authorization for civilian use. It is used for intelligence operations and military reconnaissance, wildfire monitoring, providing mobile communication, supporting rescue operations during natural disasters, environmental monitoring, and border and coastal surveillance.

To date, Primoco UAV has produced more than 250 One 150 aircraft, which are now operating on four continents. The company’s shares are traded on the main market of the Prague Stock Exchange, and last year, with a market capitalization of five billion Czech crowns, it ranked among the 100 most valuable Czech companies.
