Park of the future: CTP lets 60% of the new addition to CTPark Prague North

CTP leases 40,000 sqm in Czech Republic to Vitesco Technologies for €190m EV parts factory

CTP, Europe’s largest listed developer, owner, and manager of industrial and logistics properties by gross lettable area (GLA), has leased approximately 40,000 sqm at CTPark Ostrava Hrušov in the Czech Republic to Vitesco Technologies, a leading international manufacturer of modern drive technologies and solutions for electrification.

18,000 sqm Lease With CTP Enables FIEGE to Deliver Nexen Tyres From Czech Republic to Car Manufacturers Across Europe

This will be FIEGE’s third location with CTP, following existing leases in Poland and the Czech Republic, and brings their total occupation across CTParks to 59,000 sqm. From April 2024, the new regional distribution centre at CTPark Žatec will be used to store tyres from Nexen Tire Europe and supply them to automotive manufacturing plants across Europe. The warehouse had to be specially adapted for the storage of tyres in transport cages, which was handled flexibly by CTP. FIEGE will provide complete logistics services at CTPark Žatec for Nexen Tire Europe, which has its European production plant close by.

CTP and ČEZ Esco are installing photovoltaic power plants on the roofs of logistics halls

The companies CTP and ČEZ Esco have started strategic cooperation in the field of energy and renewable resources. In the following years, they intend to equip the roofs of selected CTParks with photovoltaic power plants. They have already installed the first joint photovoltaic system with a capacity of 2 MW in CTPark Prague East in Nupaky near Prague on the roofs of the halls of the logistics company Raben. Trial operation of this photovoltaic system is currently underway. New power plants are also being built in CT Parks in Chrášťany, Hradec Králové, Brno, Ostrava or Cerhovice.

The zooplus online platform and GXO Logistics are expanding the zooplus logistics network with a new fulfillment center. It is located in CTPark Bor and has a total area of 60,000 square meters.

ViaPharma concluded lease agreements for 20 years in two CTParcs

The distributor of medicinal products on the Czech market, the company ViaPharma, and the developer CTP have signed lease agreements for 20 years in two domestic CTParcs. The CTP company will hand over to the tenant premises with a total area of almost 27,000 square meters and a number of specific modifications for the pharmaceutical industry by the end of 2023. CTPark Ostrava Poruba and CTPark Brno Líšeň will be other locations of mutual cooperation, ViaPharma already rents three warehouses in Romania.

The interest of companies in renting smaller industrial spaces in the Czech Republic grows

The industrial developer CTP is noticing a growing interest in smaller multifunctional spaces up to 2,000 square meters. He estimates the increase in demand this year by 10-15%. For example, in the Ponávka business park in Brno, which CTP owns, there is a long-term interest in small premises despite their full occupancy. The company has therefore built two CTBox-type buildings in the revitalized brownfield CTPark Brno Líšeň, in which it is possible to rent multifunctional spaces starting from 400 square meters. The same type of units is now available in CTPark Hradec Králové.
