The current press release from Panattoni does not disclose the tenant of the Cheb facility. However, based on visits by the editorial team of Systémy Logistiky to the local park, the occupier is understood to be the fashion retailer H&M.
Panattoni has been active on the Czech market since 2007. Among its largest completed projects are the Amazon distribution centres in Dobrovíz and Kojetín. The Kojetín facility comprises four floors with a total area of 187,000 square metres. According to the developer, the rooftop photovoltaic installation is designed to cover up to two-thirds of the building’s operational energy consumption.
Other notable developments include Panattoni Business Park Pilsen West II, which hosts manufacturing operations for Panasonic and Shape Corp., as well as the industrial park in Ostrov, where companies such as Witte and ZF Automotive operate.
In terms of sustainability, Panattoni reports that it has delivered 1.4 million square metres of buildings in the Czech Republic certified under BREEAM New Construction. New projects are targeting the Excellent and Outstanding certification levels. The company also highlights 1.1 million square metres of revitalised brownfield sites and 513,000 square metres of space certified at the BREEAM Outstanding level. At the end of last year, Panattoni delivered its first Net Zero standard building in the country for ZF Automotive.
According to summary figures provided in the press release, Panattoni has completed a total of 2.13 million square metres in the Czech Republic, with an additional approximately 200,000 square metres currently under construction.
