In a move set to redefine logistics standards, Hopi Česká republika has partnered with Crown Lift Trucks to integrate a new fleet of heavy-duty material handling equipment. This significant upgrade will be implemented at Hopi's state-of-the-art warehouse in Strančice, reinforcing its position as a leading 3PL provider in Central Europe. Petr Panáček, General Director of Crown Lift Trucks, highlighted the project's scope, stating, “We have secured a substantial fleet of our machines that will become an integral part of the logistical processes for one of the largest 3PL service providers in Central Europe.”
Advanced Technology for Superior Operational Performance
The core of this partnership lies in leveraging Crown's cutting-edge technology to achieve unparalleled operational benefits. Pavol Kurilla, Manager in Technical Purchase and Services at Hopi Česká republika, emphasized the impact: “Our collaboration with Crown Lift Trucks allows us to utilize newly acquired technology efficiently. Thanks to the heavy-duty variant as standard, we will increase handling productivity and eliminate unnecessary downtime.” The initial phase includes the delivery of a dozen electric RT series forklifts, specifically designed for low-level handling, efficient pallet transport within the warehouse, and truck loading. These robust machines boast a carrying capacity of up to 2500 kg and a lift height of 211 mm.
Optimized Operator Experience and Enhanced Safety
Crown's commitment to operator comfort and safety is evident in the new fleet. The RT series models offer both seated and standing operation, providing operators with fast, powerful transport performance alongside the comfort necessary for daily tasks. Key ergonomic features include a soft foam backrest, the option for right-hand or left-hand steering, and a suspended floor platform, ensuring excellent driving comfort. Furthermore, the machines are engineered for superior maneuverability in confined spaces, featuring a narrow chassis (only 780 mm), a short fork heel length, responsive steering, and intuitive controls. Safety is paramount, with features like an 8mm reinforced steel rim, rounded 6mm steel side panels (with no plastic in exposed areas), electric power steering for improved handling, and speed regulation in corners for enhanced stability. A safety switch on the entry bar deactivates travel if the operator steps outside the truck's perimeter.

The full delivery of these machines, acquired by Hopi Česká republika, is scheduled between January and June of next year.
