At the GTC 2025 conference in San José, USA in March, Kion Group presented how its subsidiary Dematic uses so-called physical artificial intelligence. It was a control tower that, in conjunction with a digital twin and AI, analyzes warehouse processes and helps to further streamline them. This is another result of Kion's collaboration with Nvidia and Accenture: the digital twin is created using Nvidia Omniverse technologies and the Mega Omniverse Blueprint platform.
The REALIA FUND SICAV qualified investor fund, focused exclusively on investments in regional retail parks, boasted results for 2024. It brought investors a net return of 9.18% (CZK shares) and 8.12% (EUR shares). Since its inception in 2020, it has achieved an average annual appreciation of 9.91% p.a., which demonstrates its ability to adapt to market fluctuations.
VGP Park Ústí nad Labem City is fully occupied. Mailstep, a logistics company primarily providing logistics services to e-shops, has leased the remaining 18,800 square meters of warehouse and operational space in halls B and C. According to the developer's press release, these spaces are aiming for BREEAM Excellent sustainability certification. The transaction was brokered by real estate consulting company 108 Real Estate.
Ecologistics, a logistics company specializing in e-commerce, is expanding its operations in the P3 Logistic Parks in Lovosice. As part of its expansion, it will lease Hall C, which the developer completed last year, on a long-term basis. This will bring the capacity of P3 Lovosice to almost full, according to the developer's current press release.
The BMW Group will soon operate its overseas logistics from the logistics park in Mošnov. Following the issuance of a valid building permit, the development company Concens Investments has started the construction of the 3rd stage of the Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park complex at Leoš Janáček Airport in Ostrava Mošnov. The BMW car manufacturer will have three new halls at its disposal, which it will use on the basis of a ten-year pre-lease. The complex will be connected, among other things, to the railway terminal.
The Škoda Auto car manufacturer's intralogistics at its production plant in Mladá Boleslav will be strengthened by fully automated conveyor bridges and an automated high-bay warehouse (HRL) for the transport and storage of passenger car bodies. This follows from a recent press release from the design and construction consulting firm Obermeyer Helika, which is participating in this project. The first stage of the actual project implementation, i.e. the construction of the warehouse, is starting these days.
The Office for the Protection of Economic Competition (ÚOHS) has authorized the American investment company Blackstone to purchase a portfolio of ten logistics parks in the Czech Republic.
